Kiama Holiday Park — Wi-Fi & CCTV Infrastructure Upgrade
Tasman required a complete upgrade of the park's Wi-Fi and CCTV infrastructure following the removal of its existing network solution. Delion designed and delivered a modern, scalable system focused on stronger wireless coverage, improved network performance and enhanced site security.

The challenge
What needed fixing.
- Coverage and access point positioning needed significant improvement across villas, communal areas and outdoor spaces.
- The existing CCTV system needed modernising — retaining the cameras that still worked while introducing a centralised, intelligent video management platform.
Our solution
What we designed and installed.
- 69 new Wi-Fi access points installed across the park for complete indoor and outdoor coverage.
- A new core network backbone built on multiple point-to-point wireless links, with new switching and routing throughout.
- Five 5-metre galvanised mounting poles installed to position wireless and camera infrastructure correctly.
- Migration of 28 existing Axis cameras to the OpenEye video management platform.
- 8 new Hanwha cameras added, bringing the site to 36 active cameras — including new coverage of the playground.
- An OpenEye 24TB recording server delivering approximately 30 days of footage retention.
The outcome
What changed after handover.
Faster, more reliable Wi-Fi coverage throughout the park and a significantly improved CCTV solution with centralised video management, AI-powered analytics and advanced search capabilities — designed to scale as the park grows.
